Bilbo’s house was a complete mess, especially the dining room; the kitchen and Bilbo didn’t even want to talk about the state of the bathroom. Bilbo looked at Gandalf unimpressed, Gandalf chuckled and told Bilbo that it was nothing but a merry gathering and that h should get used to it now.
Bilbo wondered why at all he needed to get used to it, he certainly didn’t have to, “This mess needs to be cleaned up right away!” Bilbo demanded in an aggravated tone.
